1 In 4 American Users Have Deleted Facebook

Nearly 1/4 th of American Facebook users have changed how they use the social media app in the past year, following a barrage of scandals involving the abuse of personal data, foreign interference in U.S. elections and the spread of hateful or harassing content on the platform.

The findings were released Wednesday in a new survey by the Pew Research Center the same day that Facebook chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg is testifying before a Senate panel hearing to discuss how the company is better prepared to combat foreign interference on the platform than during the 2016 election.

The survey revealed that 74 percent of adults have taken one of the following actions: changed their privacy settings, taken a break from the app or deleted it all together.

Pew also found that more than 1 in 4 Americans have deleted the app from their phones. Fifty-four percent tweaked their privacy settings, and 42 percent stopped using the app for several weeks or longer. Those interventions were also much more likely to have been taken by younger people, who outpaced older users in each of the three actions. For instance, 64% of 18 to 29 year-olds changed their privacy settings in the past year, compared with 33 percent of people aged 65 and older.

 Moto P30 price in China is set at CNY 2,099 (roughly Rs. 21,400) for the base variant with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage and CNY 2,499 (approximately Rs. 25,400) for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage. The smartphone will be made available in China starting September 15, in Aurora Blue, Black, and White colour options. A Weibo post by Motorola states that the phone is "designed for China" so it might not make its way out of CHINA soon.

All iPhone Users in India Could Face Deactivation

Stop buying iPhones clear message to all as India’s telecom regulator has announced new rules that look set to escalate its ongoing battle with Apple. If enforced, the regulation could lead to deactivation of services of iPhone users in the country, unless Apple blinks first in a battle that has been brewing for quite some time.

The Telecom Commercial Communication Customer Preference Regulation, 2018 released by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on Thursday is “proposed to curb the problem of unsolicited commercial communication,” or as you and I know it, pesky calls and text messages. The provision that directly impacts Apple calls for telcos to “derecognise” devices that - among other things - do not allow installation of an app developed by the regulator.

Part of TRAI’s regulation says:

Every Access Provider shall ensure, within six months’ time, that all smart phone devices registered on its network support the permissions required for the functioning of such Apps as prescribed in the regulations 6(2)(e) and regulations 23(2)(d);

Provided that where such devices do not permit functioning of such Apps as prescribed in regulations 6(2)(e) and regulations 23(2)(d), Access Providers shall, on the order or direction of the Authority, derecognize such devices from their telecom networks.

Donald Trump said this week that the tiny Balkan nation's called MONTENEGRO "aggressive" people were capable of triggering "World War III".

Montenegro defended its history of "peaceful politics," saying the country "contributes to peace and stability not only on the European continent but worldwide, along with US soldiers in Afghanistan." ontenegro was the only ex-Yugoslavian country whose decision to split from the federation did not trigger a war, though its soldiers fought against Croatia's war of independence in the 1990s as part of the Yugoslav army

A former US ambassador to NATO slammed the comments as "a gift" to Russian President Vladimir Putin, while senior Republican senator John McCain said Trump was playing into the Russia's hands by "questioning our obligations under NATO."

Montenegro, whose troops number about only 2,000 personnel, joined NATO in June 2017, despite strong opposition from part of the population and violent demonstrations in 2015.

The move also infuriated Russia, with whom relations have soured in recent years as the Balkan nation forges closer ties with the West and eyes entry into the European Union.

The remastered footage looks incredible. There has always been a sort of disconnect because of the primacy of the footage. The awkward speed, and unclear footage always made everything seem a little less real, and a little more distant. I think the film appearing as though it could have been filmed last week will, I think, help me to relate more to the people of the war.

For those who missed this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, the film is currently available on rent or digital purchase. Interestingly, it is available on a rental basis on YouTube itself. The movie is written and directed by Jon Matthews. Only western nation in the top 10 was the United States, which ranked joint third when respondents were asked where women were most at risk of sexual violence, harassment and being coerced into sex, starting from Donal Trump President of United States
