According to 1418Now the film will be broadcast on BBC One in november, and they have yet to announce theatrical releases. I hope this movie doesn't end up passing me by. The remastered footage looks incredible. There has always been a sort of disconnect because of the primacy of the footage. The awkward speed, and unclear footage always made everything seem a little less real, and a little more distant. I think the film appearing as though it could have been filmed last week will, I think, help me to relate more to the people of the war.
The 11th of November is the 100th anniversary of the end of the war.

13 Reasons Why is probably the most argued-about show on TV right now. On one side are parents, teachers and mental health professionals, many of whom advise teens against watching it. On the other are superfans, mostly of school age, who relate strongly to protagonist Hannah a victim of misogyny, rape culture and casual sexism Which side are you in ?
Hannah mum is preparing for a long court battle against her daughter’s school Liberty High. She says they didn’t do enough to help her cope and she may be right. In each new episode, a different character takes the stand and we learn a new side to the story. They each and not Hannah provide the narration for their episode. It’s more courtroom drama than high-school flick but makes for a welcome change after season one’s restrictive format. Meanwhile, Hannah’s closest friend Clay is trying to move on. He’s got a new girlfriend bubbly yet troubled Skye and seems happy. But when he’s called to testify his newfound stability crumbles. To make matters worse, he’s targeted by a mysterious vigilante who threatens the witnesses to keep them quiet. This series focuses less on Hannah and more on Clay and his classmates’ road to recovery: Tyler makes a new, rebellious friend, jock Zach stands up to rapist Bryce and Tony tries his hardest to stay out of trouble. Each plot line is compelling and more complex than in last season. Yes, some of their decisions don’t make sense particularly the romantic ones. But when has logic ever ruled love?
The young cast are impressive with Dylan Minnette (Clay) and Justin Prentice (Bryce) on top form. But it’s Alisha Boe who is season two’s MVP. She plays Jessica, who is still coming to terms with her rape by Bryce at a party. She’s quiet, quick to tears and too scared to sleep in her own bed. Unsurprisingly, boyfriend Justin has vanished. Boe brings a quiet excellence to the role as she jumps from bleak hopelessness to fierce determination. Her’s is a multi-faceted performance that inspires admiration, not just of her but of the character too. Fans will be most invested in Jessica’s story
Ultimately, season two does enough to justify its existence and you will likely watch it faster than the first. Those who say it’s run its course are missing the point. 13 Reasons Why was never about one girl’s suicide. It’s about endemic problems with society and shining a light on the shit young people have to deal with on a daily basis. On that merit alone it should get another season..

The terrorist is none other than Alek Minassian was arrested after 10 people were killed by a van in northern Toronto Canada on Monday evening.
25-year-old was taken into custody after the rented vehicle ploughed into a crowd, leaving a further 15 people hospitalised, and also faces multiple counts of attempted murder. Alek Minassian lives in Richmond Hill, north of Toronto has been a student for the past few years at Seneca College. One classmate said he graduated from the college only last week. he had never exhibited any indication of possessing extremist views or violent tendencies and was described by one couple as being “friendly” but could have radically converted lately but as per officers mental illness was the leading theory for a motive, rather than terrorism. RIP all lives.

Minassian was also regarded as an IT expert at school with comprehensive knowledge of computer chips, according to his former classmates. His name is listed as a developer on a number of apps, including one that found parking spots in the Toronto area. He is believed to have attended the college for seven years while also working in several software development jobs. Officers were searching his home on Monday night.

Guillermo del Toro’s best-picture-winning “The Shape of Water” isn’t only about a lady getting with an amphibious fish-man creature.
It’s a film that’s built on allegories and bigger messages: It embraces magical realism and is about outsiders, showing your humanity when the rest of the world doesn’t show you basic respect, toxic masculinity, and the indignities brought on by racism, sexism and homophobia.
Okay, all that being said: You could very well walk away from this movie talking about the fish sex. The movie is set in 1960s Baltimore, and Sally Hawkins plays Elisa Esposito, a mute cleaning lady at a research facility that handles top-secret government projects. One day, a new “asset” is brought in: an amphibious creature that looks like a cross between a man and a fish. The creature’s handler, Strickland calls it an abomination and an affront. It was worshiped as a god in the Amazon, where it was caught. Elisa forms a bond with this creature; both are misunderstood and not heard by the outside world. She clearly comes to see the “asset” as more than an animal, referring to the creature at first as “it,” then as “him.” “When he looks at me, the way he looks at me, he does not know what I lack or how I am incomplete,” she says. “He sees me for what I am, as I am.”
“The movie tries to embody the beauty of the ‘Other What makes us different is what makes us great. It’s sort of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ in a way that shows you that beauty doesn’t have to be the perfect princess, she doesn’t have to look like a perfume-commercial model.”
Del Toro further subverts this kind of romantic genre; his monster doesn’t have to turn into a human to be loved or renounce who he is: “Because, to me, love is not transformation. Love is acceptance and understanding.”
But we digress. So does this lady get it on with a fish-humanoid thing or what? Yes. They first begin communicating using sign language and (romance!) chowing down on hard-boiled eggs. They grow closer over time, then they finally hook up.
