Century's longest 'blood moon' underway - Doomsday near ?

 

 Earth's natural satellite MOON turns a striking shade of red or blood brown today, when light from the Moon is totally obscured, will last for one hour, 43 minutes. Moon passes right through the centre of the Earth's shadow, at the shadow's widest point.

 Astronomical event happens roughly every six months but a series of social media posts reveals people still fear the supposed Biblical links to the Blood Moon.
