Airplan Runway littered with gold, Platinum bars and Diamonds

Russian runway was left covered with gold bars after a plane lost its cargo during takeoffThe  AN-12 Cargo plane experienced problems during takeoff where the plane's door flew open allowing the cargo to fall out all over the runway of Yakutsk airport in Eastern Siberia.

The plane was carrying ten tonnes of gold, platinum and diamonds worth $500 million. The plane dropped some bars of gold as far as 26km from the airport.

"A total of 172 bars weighing around 3.4 tonnes have been found so far," a spokesman told TASS state news agency.

Police also say all the bars that we're dropped in the incident have been found.
